Betty is not allowed to be happy
Why do people think that everybody needs other people to survive ? That’s because they do, but it doesn’t necessarily mean you have to meet them in person.
Betty hasn’t been out of the house for around 4 weeks now, apart from walking her dogs.
The amount of people Betty has interacted with is just enough thank you. Betty is autistic and she needs to be alone a lot of the time. In fact she’s realised it’s most of the time, apart from her kids and grandkids Betty does not interact physically with other people, but she’s found new friends online to play with so she’s fine.
Betty is a happy hermit, but the DWP don’t like it. They’re determined to drag her into a society where she can’t cope,
Betty does not understand this society so needs to stay away from it for her own sanity. So Betty is writing a book so that she can be as famous as JK Rowling, and live on a desert island and write books, oh and to blog and tweet of course.
