You would think being totally honest with people would gain you many friends. Wrong, too much honesty is a disability.
People often don’t want to hear honesty. They only want to hear what they want to hear. This is where my disability kicks in. Does my bum look big in this ? No is usually the answer in the non- autistic world, but in my autistic world if your bum looks big in something I will tell you.
This doesn’t really get you many friends. Luckily I still have one friend left who hasn’t asked me whether her bum looks big or not.. do you know why ? Because she knows I will tell her the truth whether she likes it or not. Well done Lisa, my only remaining friend in the physical world.. how to lose your friends easily .. just tell them the truth.
