MEDITATION THE NATURAL ANXIETY TOOL…

Meditation, the natural anxiety tool.

Recharge your Brain.

connecting your brain usb to a natural energy…

I have suffered from severe anxiety all of my life, partly caused by my autism, and partly because of the many hurdles I’ve had to cross.

Most people have jumped these hurdles too, different kinds of hurdles , but hurdles all the same. what makes us all connect as one in our anxiety, is the irrational fear.

Our brains are amazing things, so clever, they like to wake us up at 2.30 am because they’re bored, and then remind us of that time we embarrassed ourselves in Walmart 10 years ago.

We store so much memory in our brains, it may get to the point where it starts struggling to do so any more, and your thoughts are with you constantly. Some people use food as an anxiety reliever, some use drugs or some like me, with severe anxiety use many destructive coping mechanisms on their journey through life with anxiety.

Meditation is the safest and easiest way to develop good coping skills.

I’m not saying meditation is easy, it isn’t, but everybody would do it if it was that simple.

Meditation has to become a way of life, not just a quick attempt and because you can’t do it the first second or even tenth time, doesn’t mean you have to give up.

I had given up, I recall meditating as a child without even realise what I was doing at the time. I would hold my breath for as long as possible and I would see beautiful things happening with each breath.

I had lost my way, and couldn’t recall how to do it, but as soon as I put my mind into doing it again, it all came flooding back.

I rarely suffer anxiety now, I have learned to recognise it for what it is, how it makes me feel, and as soon as I feel it creeping up, I meditate for 20 minutes. The most amazing 20 minutes of the day, I would spend all day meditating if I could, but unfortunately when you are trying to live a life, as a single parent with a teenager at home, it can be pretty difficult.

I try for at least 2 meditations per day, sometimes I only manage one, but I always make sure I meditate every day, my anxiety is a thing of the past, and meditation is the key to my future.

Recharge your batteries daily, as part of your life routine, it’s no different to cleaning your teeth. This is cleaning for your mind, and it is so much more important.

Take care of yourself love Betty
